Bring 1 gal of water up to 160 degrees. Turn off burner, add grains, and steep for 30 min. Remove grains and bring wort to a gentle boil. Add fermentables and return to a gentle boil. Start to rehydrate yeast. Add hops per schedule. When boil is done remove hops. Cool wort to 70 degrees. Add wort to fermenter. Add additional water to 2.25 gal mark. Pitch yeast and seal fermenter.
