INSTRUCTIONS |

This is closest to being a Sweet Stout without any lactose, the sweet rather coming from grains mashed @ higher temps (155*-160*F) for 90 min. Ferment @ 68* F. I have a Qt..of heavily oaked moonshine whiskey 100 proof to add at bottling I am going to start with 1 Tbs. per 22 Oz. for test. that computes to a quart in 10 Gallons.1 Tbs. of 100 Proof spirit in 22 Oz. will increase abv. approx..1%. I will update @ that time. I will update on Final Abv. also when finished.
A very nice beer with the 1 Qt of Moonshine. Changed the recipe a bit. Will mix S-33 and S-04 50/50 to make a clearer beer and uped the caraplil to 1Lb and dropped the corn syrup. should give a better mouth feel and a little higher ABV.
