INSTRUCTIONS

Assemble Mash Tun add 1 qt of 180F water for every lb of grain (11 qt = 2.75 Gal) Add water first to pre-heat the tun / Stir water until temp reaches 170F. Gently add grains in until all grain is covered by water / close lid to mash MASH - After 10 mins check the mash temp / should be between 149F - 156F / Continue Mash for 60 mins Start to heat SPARGE water / Need enough 200F water for expected final volume (5 Gal brew) CONVERSION - SPARGE - Slowly drain 1/2 gallon of WORT and pour it back in on top of the MASH. This process (VORLAUF) is used to clear the WORT. This process should take 1 Hour BOIL - After collecting enough WORT it is time to BOIL. You will lose 15% of BOIL due to evaporation. For 5 Gallons, start with a 6 Gallon Boil. Add WORT chiller that last 15 mins of a 60 min BOIL (This will sanitize the chiller.
